Small bowls with a thick rim perfect for all your snacking and picnic meal sharing needs. Speckled buff stoneware with a variegated cream and toasty beige glaze.

I named these “Apéro” after the french short form for apéritif, which means a drink or snack before dinner. We ate later than most typical Northern American households to wait for my dad to get home and eat as a family, so we would usually eat something to tie us over (I also spent many of my formative years in Europe, where a later meal time is the norm). Especially on weekends and holidays, there would be snacks and wine to enjoy while making food and chatting. Its kind of my favourite way to eat - samples of all sorts of good things in good company ♡ .

Measures approx. 5 1/2" wide and 2"tall.
