SHIPPING
Your pottery should be shipped within 3-7 days after you place your order.
Everything is carefully packed and cushioned in recycle-able kraft paper. I have tried other methods to pack your wares, and have found this to be the safest and kindest to our environment - all your pottery will be safe and sound!
Orders within Canada and the U.S. are shipped with Canada Post, with tracking. Delivery times will vary depending on your location, but usually fall between 3-15 business days.
If you are local to Southern Vancouver Island, and are able to pick up in Sooke, please select "Local Pick Up" at check out and you will not be charged shipping. I will email you once your package is ready to choose a time slot and day for pickup.
Disclaimer: If selecting pick up, please pick up within 3 months of being contacted or it will be re-listed with no refund provided (I will send a final email before doing so). Wicked Wanda Pottery is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once the item is shipped it is no longer my responsibility - however, insurance is included for a lost parcel. Please contact Canada Post in the case of a lost parcel.
For International orders, please send an email for more accurate shipping quotes and delivery times. Insurance (Canada Post only covers lost parcels) will be included along with a tracking number.
STORE POLICIES
All Wicked Wanda Pottery pieces are made by hand by me, Erika, and even though I strive for consistency, pieces will all vary slightly in shape and colour patterns from one another and from what you see on the website. That is part of the beauty of handmade ceramics, and I embrace this aspect of it :)
All sales are final - I do not accept returns, however if you have been sent the wrong order or receive a faulty item, please get in touch within 3 days of receiving your parcel with pictures.
If your pottery breaks in a way other than what seems to be regular use/accidental (don’t forget to be careful with thermal shock), get in touch with a picture, I will determine the nature of the break and if faulty I will replace it free of charge.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wicked Wanda pottery pieces are food safe unless otherwise noted in the item description as well as dishwasher safe - they pass the test of restaurant use! Hand-washing is always a good option, especially if you choose an item with gold luster or textured glazes. I strongly advise against using metal/abrasive scrubbers to avoid scratches. All pieces in the current production are NOT microwave safe as I use a clay with speckles. This includes older items with the Oat and nutmeg glazes as well as anything with gold luster.
Please note that very strong foods (ex: turmeric or frozen berries, balsamic) can eventually leave a stain on your light coloured satin glazed pieces (Cloud, Toasted M. or Oat). These glazes also show cutlery marks over time. You can clean your pieces with Bar Keeper’s Friend (or similar) and a soft/natural scrubby once in a while to lessen their appearance. Even though your pottery items are designed for everyday use, they are not commercially produced, and therefore I encourage you to embrace their unique nature and signs of wear (aka love) as time goes by ♡ .
